Mountain Magic

Although a bit shorter than the Black Moshannon ride, this will feel every bit as hard. Four distinct climbs check in at 500, 700, 500, and 800 feet, whew! This ride takes you north into the beautiful hills of the Allegheny front. Although you never stray too far from Happy Valley, the deserted roads and different topography will make you feel far from home. A fast descent down Seibert Road starts off the ride and takes you through historic and victorian Bellefonte. Continuing north, you will pass through Milesburg and over 220 before starting the relentless up and down that makes up the 'business' of this ride. Be sure to save something for the last climb up and out of Unionville as it is the longest. A stop at the creamery on the University Park Campus after this ride is most definitely well deserved.
